This page explains what information ClearCents ("we," "us") collects when you use this website, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• Calculator inputs: numbers you type into our calculators are processed in your browser. We do not transmit or store them on our servers.
• Basic analytics: we may use analytics tools to understand aggregate traffic (pages visited, approximate region, device type). Where possible we prefer privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics.
• Server logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may log standard technical data such as IP address and user agent for security and performance.

Advertising and cookies

ClearCents may display third-party advertising. Ad networks may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and in some cases to personalize them. Where required by law, you will be shown a consent banner with the option to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can also limit ad personalization through your browser settings and through industry opt-out tools such as aboutads.info.

Third-party links

Guides may link to external sites (for example, IRS.gov or CFPB.gov). Their privacy practices are their own; review their policies separately.

Children

This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13.
